Good Hair

After watching this, (http://bit.ly/QTHca) me & my cousin talked about what is Good Hair. Me myself, rock a natural hair do, I have dread locks. It was a long time before I came to the conclusion that i wanted dreadlocks. I always wanted to be different, & not conform, so i decided I wanted to go natural. Not to brag, but i have a decent grade of hair, & i was able to pull the look off. It was my mother who thought dread locks would work for me. "you're always on the go," she said. "it would be a perfect look for you." So i decided to get dreadlocks. I have had dreadlocks since February 16th 2008. At first I liked them, then I hated them, then I started to love them. They are different & unique & alot of people don't have the guts to pull it off. Some people think good hair, is straight permed hair. Others think it is, curly natural hair. Does good hair determine if you are cute or not? What are your thoughts on good hair?

& I cant wait to see this movie in theaters.

Letter to my "father"

Dear Mr. Fears,

Hey. How are you? I wouldn't know, since you refuse to keep in contact with your eldest child. But i dont blame you. I mean your just doing what society expects of you right? Like taking care of children is too much for you, huh? haha. Its okay. You are a grown ass man. Yet, you act childish. I text you, you don't text back. I call you & you don't answer. & don't use the tired excuse that your phone is broke, or you didn't get the message. Cuz I'll text or call you from a different number & you'll answer the phone. I just hang up. I don't wanna hear your voice. I just wanted some money, honestly. Ill be honest. I tried the whole father-daughter thing with you, & it just didn't work. I mean you FORGOT my birthday. Like really? No call. I couldn't even get a card. No happy birthday text! It would have taken a measly 10 seconds to send me a Happy Birthday text to my phone. But you didn't. On June 8th 2009, for 24 whole hours you were too busy to recognize the day I was born. Your birthday was in July. I wasnt gonna text you either, but two wrongs don't make a right, so i texted you. A couple weeks after that, I texted you & told you my situation. School was next month, & i asked you to contribute some monetary funds. You said sure I got you. I mean its the least you could do. My mother did everything for me last year. You didn't come to my high school graduation or send me off to college. But you want respect? ha! come on now. lets get real. school starts in two weeks. i still havent heard from you. But I bet you have plenty of money to take your little girlfriends to the movies. She is legal right? & you can support another man's kids but not your own. You were in the hospital every time this little baby was sick, but you cant acknowledge me? wow. what did i do wrong. yes you were young when i was born, i understand. but a real MAN accepts his responsibilities & steps up to the plate. & that sir, is something you will never be. I am not angry or upset at all. I'm honestly more hurt than anything. because you made me another statistic. Thanks, "dad"

Update!

Whats up World? I'm blessed right now. I'm living and loving my life right now! I'm listening to Freddie Gibbs, chilling, layed back. In my life, I'm about to be busy these next couple of weeks. I have my family reunion in Detroit next weekend & then the weekend after that, I'm off to school to finish the 2nd of my four years! I'm still st St. Catherine. Check us out at sccky.edu. This year I am expanding my athletic & academic repertoire. I am playing soccer, well actually practicing & I'll be the manager on game day. I'll be able to play games next year. I am also debating on softball. I just wanna stay busy & focused & get the most of my college experience. As far as academic, I am still going to be on the Student Senate, & I am going to try to join another organization as well as get a job. I'll be plenty busy! My cousin, Alexis, is in the Big Bang Theory, which is a dance production. It's tomorrow, so I'm excited to get to see her perform. As far as everything else, I'm good. Also tonight rapper Drake, fell down & injured his leg. Let's hope he's OK. That's all for now! Thanks for reading.

Good Clean Joke

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from hose results, I will judge who does the better job."

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away. They moused. They faxed. They e-mailed They e-mailed with attachments. They downloaded. They did spreadsheets! They wrote reports. They created labels and cards. They created charts and graphs. They did some genealogy reports They did every job known to man. ' Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off. Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed. Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted > their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming: "It's gone! It's all GONE! "I lost everything when the power went out!"

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work. Satan observed this and became irate. "Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?"

God just shrugged and said, JESUS SAVES

I am sad to say that my uncle passed away. He was shot & killed. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time & HE WAS NOT THE INTENDED TARGET! Me & my family are grieving the loss of my uncle, some are taking it more harder than others. He loved every1 & wouldnt hurt a fly. We love you dearly Uncle Charles & you will be missed.
